Apropos Meerschweinchen: Eine Homepage, die so viele Meerschweinchen hat, wie die von Gui Gui – nun, die ist einfach gut. Jawoll.

Koppel & Kunst + Kleid

Zwei schöne Weihnachtsmärkte: Bei Kunst + Kleid findet man liebevolle Kleinserien und Unikate aus Design, Kunst, Recycling und Mode, am 12. und 13. Dezember im Lichtmeßkino.

An allen Adventswochenenden läuft der Weihnachtsmarkt in der Koppel 66, bei dem Kunsthandwerk ausgestellt wird – und es gibt auch einen Stand der Damen von Tatendrang-Design, die unter anderem sehr charmante Meerschweinchen malen.

Und als kurze Erinnerung: Nicht das Holy Shit Shopping am 5. und 6. Dezember verpassen!

Demons and Aliens: Neue Bilder von -TeER- im Artstore

Der Artstore: erstes Opfer einer universellen Verschwörung?  Oder wandeln die Ausserirdischen schon seit Jahren unter uns?  Wer muss eigentlich vor wem Angst haben? Und: hat irgenwer eine dieser nützlichen Brillen dabei?

Dringende Fragen, auf die wir bei der Ausstellung von Teer auf Pauli möglicherweise keine Antwort finden. Dafür gibt es Malereien auf Holz im klaren Stil der Comic-Bildsprache. Teers Gestalten bevölkern die Wände wie Panels eine Comicseite. Alle Bilder stehen für sich und gehören doch zusammen: Millionen möglicher Geschichten schwirren durch den Raum. Für eine Einzelausstellung schon mal nicht schlecht.

During the Reeperbahn Festival you can also visit an exhibition of some of the best poster artists and illustrators. Flatstock is the largest exhibition of its kind in North America, now it is coming to Europe. Admission is free.

This is the other comic I have drawn, in 2008. It is dedicated to my girlfriend Eva, and to all the friendly creatures out there, even if they have way too many legs.

Berlin: Summer.Pop.Shopping.

Neben Hamburg ist Berlin auch immer eine Reise wert. Ist wisst schon, diese andere Stadt da. Zum Beispiel zum Summer.Pop.Shopping (29.-30.8.09), einer Art Holy.Shit.Shopping (dem Weihnachtsmarkt für coole junge Leute), nur eben im Sommer. Und auf einem Badeschiff. Wie schön. Auf auf.

Another great side for the fans of paper artwork: Cubecraft, featuring many famous cube-characters, ready to download and stick together. Beautiful.

Optical Illusion

This dragon is the best optical illusion I know. You can download it, print it out and stick it together. Really amazing, watch the video.

This is a wonderful optical illusion. This little dragon is made out of paper – you simply cut it out and stick it together, and stand it on a table or window ledge. But when you move around, the dragon’s head seems to follow you around the room. Have a look at the video, to see what we mean. The effect is really uncanny.

Bei der Lektüre des Windows-Event-Logs stiess ich auf das folgende schöne Wort:

Ich finde, “Herunterfahrungstyp” könnte man sich auch auf ein T-Shirt drucken. Da muss ich dann wiederum an Katz & Goldt denken, die mal einen Cartoon darüber hatten, dass man “nicht alles sofort auf ein T-Shirt drucken muss”…
